Need a graphics card for my desktop

That depends on what you mean by "occasional gaming;" about the best you'll do for under $50 is a HD6450, which may not be able to handle new games at all, or would be on the very lowest settings at 720p resolution. That card would run older games though, and any casual titles.
If you can increase your budget, a HD7750 or GTX750 would run on your current PSU yet would be able to handle new games somewhat better, likely reaching "Medium" settings on many titles.

If you don't mind playing the rebate game (and win), the HD6570 is a LOT better than the HD6450. Two other possibilities would be a HD6670 or GT630.
If you're able to stretch to any of the four I mentioned, make sure it is a GDDR5 version, not DDR3 (the HD6570 will be DDR3).

Well, I play WoW every once in a while along with Minecraft. If I need to up the ante here by 30 bucks, then that's fine. I just prefer to keep it at the $50 mark.

The HD 6570 will be fine since those games aren't really that heavy to run.
