I had this board in a previous DVR but needed to upgrade to get more PCiE slots. It was working just fine.

Building a different DVR with it again that will not need as many PCiE slots, but now I am running into major issues.

I have a 4770k
4gb of corsair 1333 on the supported list
stock intel cpu fan

with nothing else plugged in and a 500w power supply.

I turn it on, cpu fan will spin up. No beep on post, but no error beeps either. It will Stay on, but I cannot get video to display from the onboard VGA or HDMI.

I take the memory out and it will give me error beeps, so I know the speaker is working properly.

I have tried clearing the cmos with the jumper, taking battery out, etc. Nothing.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've tried 4 separate gpu's. I'm actually thinking that the cpu is not seating correctly. It's not making that satisfying scratching/crunching sound (however you want to hear it :) ) as I lower the arm bar and lock it into place, nor am I getting any resistance.. I set up an RMA with ASUS, but if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated!
