From that list I would have to pick the Razer Kraken
personal preference, but the aforementioned turtle beaches are also nice

k thanks :) ...one more question, does support for dolby digital matter in gaming?....The skullcandy SLYR apparently doesnt support it while the gamecom 780s do...does it really matter in gaming?
  5. Honestly, no idea.
  6. i'm thinking about almoust the same headsets / ss siberia v2 , platronics gamecon 788 to buy , some say surround sound mess'es up in battlefield's , u will head the same sound from both ear cups,so i dont know if surround sound is worth, thats my opinion only.I had steelseries siberia v1 they were super unconfortable,i sended them back, hope i will get what i want with extra $$ added =) so long story short i would look at platronic's 788 / ss siberia v2 , and skullcandy slyr , somesay razer kraken headsets breaks easily so , i dont whant to check it out :D i want it to last me atleast 2 or more years
  7. Yeah I actually did find a proper gaming headset for me after this post. Kingston HyperX cloud pro. Seriously good audio with a decent mic. Super comfortable as we'll. I would definitely recommend it. And no surround sound really doesn't mess anything up. If you still don't want it then you can replace your default audio driver with razed surround, and then disable surround sound from there, it also has an EQ panel so that's a plus.

However keep in mind that to take full advantage of these you will need to buy an external DAC, I'm going to get one soon.

The gamecom 780 tends to break easier then any other kraken headset, look at reviews on Amazon
