Belkon :
Try the Turtle Beach X12. It's in your price range and it's well worth it. You may find the wire a little long, but it can easily be strapped together using the velcro piece (it comes with it). It was originaly ment for the xbox audience, but works much better with pc. It was my first good pair of pc headsets, I really liked the feel and the sound. I would rate it 9/10.
Edit: I forgot to mention it has a great base. So if your into games like battlefield, then this is your headset.
k thanks for the reply!...i've tried the X12's at a friend's house and the 50mm base is too much for me..(it gives me headaches after long BF4 sessions)..so a slightly lower base would be better...plus i think the X12's treble isnt upto par
...what would you think is the best headset among these :
Razer Kraken Pro
Plantronics Gamecom 780
Steelseries Siberia V2
SkullCandy SLYR
the only thing that matters to me is audio quality...and some comfort..(i dunt really care bout the microphone quality)..n yea i'll be using the onboard audio off MSI Gaming 5 motherboard (if that matters)
