So, I have two Gateway monitors, they only accept DVI and VGA. My Graphics card (AMD Radeon 7850), only has a DVI and HDMI port. I have them both connected, one directly, and one via a HDMI->DVI converter. I have a third, lower-res monitor, that accepts VGA and DVI, how can I connect it up to this setup? I'm willing to buy another graphics card, but does it need to be the same one?

That card has 2x dvi, 1 Hemingway, and 1 display port.

Display port is a different connection for high resolution monitors. To get what you want you'd need an hdmi to DVI, or a display port to VGA or DVI.

You can do it easily. Online the adapters are fairly inexpensive.
