Hey, guys I was wondering if watch Dogs would run smoothly on High/medium on my pc. Also, should I upgrade to 14.6 drivers considering it gives a 25% increase in performance while playing watch dogs?Oooh, and also what are the pros and cons of using a beta driver?

My rig:
CPU : FX 6300 @4.3GHz
GPU : r9 270X OC

I can run it with almost all settings on ultra/max at 40fps with the beta drivers, and your card is abit better than mine.
I'll assume you have 8gig of system memory too.

Pros of the beta driver: Watch dogs is actually playable
Cons of the beta driver: well..... its beta, stuff might go wrong... the odd blue screen maybe. But is been fine for me so far.

You can take it or leave it. There isnt any alternatives.

Yep, the beta was officially released shortly after watch dogs was released.

As for when the retail tested version will be out, who knows. AMD are apocalyptically slow at getting drivers out. In fact this beta is by far and away the fastest I have ever seen them move. This is one of the reasons i'll be switching back to nvida.

I'd say months. But who cares, the current 14.6 drivers work just fine.

The past 5-6 Full release drivers have had a 3 month minimum gap between releases. I personally just use beta drivers unless they actually cause problems.

They should work fine but they might have issues. If they cause issues and you would rather just stick with stable then just uninstall beta and install stable.
