My brother has wireless turtle beaches (xp 400) and every time he uses it the wifi goes to sh*t. I have done some research and this is due to RF interference from the Dual Band transmitter. The only way I found to fix the problem is moving the router away from the transmitter. Right now they are in rooms across from each other. My siblings won't move it away from each other and they don't think it's necessary probably cause they use a wired connection and don't see how bad the WiFi is when he turns on the headset. Is there any other way I could fix RF interference without moving the two devices because I am so close to breaking the $200 headset.

Can you use Ethernet? That's always the best option.
Change the channel on the router. Or see if you can use the 5GHz network, thoughboth the router and your WiFi card need to support it.

The headset might have channel settings on it. Don't know.
Ask whoever does have access to change the channel, or give you access.
You could get hold of some powerline networking stuff, but it's not particularly cheap.
