I have a two drive setup on a new pc build.
The first is an SSD with windows 8.1 installed on it.
The second is a 1tb traditional HDD. This drive has been initialized and formatted in windows 8 on another machine and loaded with content already.
Strangely, while this drive is recognized by the bios, it is nowhere to be seen under disk management. The drive does work when inserted into an external drive hub and wired via USB.
I have tried powering the drive with two different lines from the PSU, and used two different SATA cables and outlets on the mobo, but no effect.
Any ideas?
