I am planning to buy a new card but I am confused between Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR5 and Radeon R7 240 1GB DDR5. Please enlighten me with the comparison when they are both 1GB DDR5 As I already know that HD 6670 DDr5 outperforms R7 240 DDR3.And in game debate they is no performance difference between their 1GB DDR5 VERSIONS.
Please Help me And thanks in advance!!

Solution
R7 240 maintains 33avg FPS at 1680×1050+low settings. So at 1366×768+Medium settings the results will be same.

Though getting R7 250 is what I will recommend due its much better price/performance value than r7 240 since by paying only 1000 INR more over r7 240 you'r getting almost double performance with r7 250 over r7 240
There is no big difference between those two, except R7 consume less power, is little quiter, R7 240 supports mantle, newer architecture, etc
If there is a big difference in price, just get the cheapest one. If however both have same price, better get R7 240

They are actually sharing same price tag so it would be better if you get R7 240 1GB DDR5

In this thread I already recommended you to get R7 250 1GB DDR5 for better price/performance value

Actually I live in India and my budget is around 5500 rupees which is around $95

For that budget R7 240 will be best but has very poor price/performance ratio like other cards in that price range

But if you could put more money I would highly recommend you to get atleast R7 250 1GB DDR5 for better price/performance value

Last question:Will th3 r7 240 be able to run games like battlefield 4 and ghosts and I would like to know what other latest games will it be able to run? @maktovic- Sorry for asking so many questions!!! Really do noy know much about cards. Hope I am not irritating you And thanks!!!

No problem

It will run BF4 , COD: Ghosts, Assassins Creed 4, Tomb Raider , NFS, Prototype 2, Skyrim , Far Cry, Thief, Crysis 3 (settings around 720p + medium settings to get 30+fps for Crysis 3), and pretty much every game but have to lower your resolution to like 1366×768 + Medium+high settings to give you around 30+ average FPS (assuming you have i3/Fx 4300 or better equivalent + 4GB RAM)

P.S. : I don't think he's going to pay for that game
