GTX 780Ti SLI question

I currently have a standard EVGA GTX 780Ti and I'm thinking about getting another one in SLI - on Amazon I see that the Superclocked version is going for the same price that I paid for my non-superclocked version at the time. Is it ok to get the Superclocked in SLI with non-superclocked and will it make any difference anyway?

If not I will get the same card again and perhaps try to overclock myself.

Thanks

James

Solution
SLI cards will cause both cards to run at the lowest speeds out of the two. You can overclock the non-superclocked to the superclocked speeds to make it equal to it.
Make you you have an adequate quality power supply and a SLI-compatible motherboard.

Hi,

for peace of mind, try getting the same card if possible. Interestingly, my 780 sli runs at their own max boost independently, even when both are the same make and version ( ie 1045 and 1058 Mhz).

thanks
