I have a computer with a Memory of 2GB DDR3, and my Dad bought a 4GB DDR3 Module but it is half of its size. Let's call the computer with 2gb ddr3 memory as "myPc" and the 4gb ddr3 as "DadPc". I want to replace my old memory from myPc to a new 4gb ddr3 memory that it is inserted on my dadPc. I want to swap them. But the problem is when i insert the 4gb module to myPc, it will only load until on the boot screen, and it will restart again. It keeps on restarting. But when i inserted the old 2gb on my DadPc. It works fine. Until then when I inserted it back to their own slot, myPc gets a Blue screen Physical Dump memory.

Here's myPc specs:
Processor: Intel Core i3-540
Mainboard: Intel DH55TC
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD7750 1GB DDR5
MEMORY: 2GB DDR3.

I provided some screenshots of my detailed specs (using CPU-Z)

For DadPc

PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU ! :)

My Pc intel dh55tc motherboard supports DDR3 1333 / 1066 MHz DIMMs Support for up to 16 GB of system memory
Dads PC asus p8h61-m le supports DDR3 1333/1066 Hz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory maximum 16GB

Dads memory 1333mhz
your memory 1333mhz

it should be compatible even same timings 9,9,9,24

a little unclear on what is happening with your pc , the 2gb is working ?
but the 4gb is not ?

yet both work on dads ?

Yes it is working both on Dadpc, but myPc can only support my 2gb ram. Perhaps you can help me a little bit more. I really need help :(

Your board should accept the 4gb and it is 1333mhz which your board supports and the ram in question is working

thanks ,
i thought so, it is single sided and it is high density
the intel board only supports double sided(low density x8) for 4gb modules.
so no the 4gb stick is not compatible

for a kingston 4GB stick that will work with your mobo look for this one
KVR1333D3N9H/4G 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM

I don't know if I can manage to find that kind of RAM here in our country, and due to the fact that I don't have any higher knowledge regarding with those ram informations. Can you please look and choose along with the list to find what is the suitable for my Board?

KINGSTON 4GB DDR3 PC12800/1600
KINGSTON 4GB DDR3 PC10600/1333
KINGSTON 4GB HYPERX DDR3 PC12800
CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 PC10600/1333
CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 PC12800/1600

I live here in Philippines, or maybe I should ask those retailers what is the RAM that would fit to my MOBO ?
