according to their blurb. But I've been trying to find no. power phases which is a good indicators of how good an overclock you can do. Asus has a good website comparing all their z97's. The closest I can get (so far) is Gigabyte promote their 'Easy Tune' OC facility.

reason i liked the GT gaming was the audio as i have really expensive headphones and AMP edition audio suppose be top notch as my headphones are 39 Ohms i think il get the GT gaming and test my luck on OC as my current mobo stopped at 4.7ghz and i'm pretty sure its 8 power phase the mobo in my specs and UD7 is out my price range as its refund only got about $360 aus to replace it. other wise i might get http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i... this and get a sound card for $100 is there reason why this mobo is no good?

Looks like all the Gigabyte top end Z97 mobos have 8 phases - which is OK.

But if you're also after good sound, then go with the flow and get the GT.

No - as I said - etc etc - keep going through what's on offer and get the cheapest one that will do what you want.
