can i overclock my HIS r9 270?

hi guys , i have an HIS r9 270 iceq2x with a stock clock of 900/925 boost clock and i just want to overclock it , is someone knows how to overclock and what is the maximum safe clocks for this card ? i tried to find it on google but it only shows different model of r9 270's,i really need help thanks ...

Yes you can overclock it. What power supply do you have though?
I use MSI Afterburner to overclock my gpu.
The program will work on any branded gpu.

Alternatively you can use the AMD Catalyst Control Center Overdrive to overclock the gpu, but you can't change the fan profile.
Each R9 270 is different but it should be able to push to a R9 270X speeds.

thanks man , but i only have a cooler master elite v2 500w power supply , do you think it can handle it? , and the voltage control of my r9 270 is locked even if i turned on in msi afterburner

I wouldn't want to increase voltage with that power supply anyway. Keep it at stock voltage.
