Hi,

I have been looking at this PSU, and I was wondering if this would be enough power for my set up? The PSU I have been looking at is the Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt.

Also, is this a good PSU, is it enough?

Here are the components that will be included in the build:

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 TI FTW
ASUS M5A97 motherboard
AMD FX Series CPU
1TB HDD
(possibly 1 SSD, 120GB...tops)
5-7 case fans
(possibly an aftermarket CPU cooler down the road... is it worth it...?)
8GB Corsair RAM

Thanks!

Some Corsair PSUs are great, like the AX series. You must understand that Corsair doesn't make their products, they just put a label on them. The best Corsair PSUs are actually made by Seasonic. The CXs are made by Channel Well with inferior components.

Go with an XFX PRO (made by Seasonic) or a Rosewill Capstone (made by Superflower). Those are good PSUs.

The CX-series might not be outstanding units but they should still be generally solid. Many times though, there are better units from XFX and other brands selling for cheaper than the CXes.

Your build should only barely break 200W, maybe 250W peak, so it should not really make a decent 600W PSU break a sweat.

That makes me feel better, I will probably go with the 650W since XFX doesn't have a 600W (at least for the ones I'm looking at) I don't want to go under 600, incase of upgrades in the future.
