Hello everyone,

I'm making a new PC rig. I've been looking for a CPU cooler for i5 4670k CPU which I'll be overclocking. After some research I've came across Scythe Mugen 4 and Scythe Mugen Grand Kama Cross 2. Could it really be true, that a cooler blowing air to motherboard/case side panel (Grand Kama Cross 2) would be more efficient than one blowing air toward the back of the case (Mugen 4)?
Here's the review :http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/5674/scythe-grand-kama...

Also, this cooler is around $10 cheaper than Mugen4 in my country. Would be wise choice picking up Grand Kama Cross 2? Or any other cooling choice would be more viable than those two? I'm within $60-$70 budget.

PC specs:

  • CPU: Core i5 4670k
    Motherboard: Asrock Z87M Extreme 4
    RAM: Crucial Ballistix 8GB (2x 4 GB) 1600MHZ CL9 1.5V
    GPU: Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X OC
Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2

I too would only recommend closed-loop water cooling (such as the aforementioned Corsair H100i).
