System:
1)Mobo-Gigabyte 970a Ud3p
2)CPU-AMD FX 8320
3)GPU-R9 290
4)RAM-8gb (2X4GB)
5)HDD-1TB

Here's the PSU's I cant choose from:
1)Corsair 600w psu:
The attraction of this is purely it's #1 best seller and has many positive reviews. Reliability is questionable.

2) EVGA 600w PSU:
Attraction of this is that it has lots of protection built in, I dont know if thats a good or bad sign, but puts my nerves at ease knowing if something goes wrong then the rest of my rig wont mess up.

Need a non bias opinion, this is my final step in my system and cannot decide. Help!

well I can't recommend it exactly but i can tell you that it uses higher quality electoral components so in theroy it will last longer but in general power supplies will last a very long time so thats not a issue, fully modual means you only need to connect the cables you plan to use allowing for easier cable management. and since it is gold it is going to be more effiant and converting the ac from you wall into the DC your computer components take. this means less energy as wasted as heat so that the fan doesent have to work as hard to cool it and it will run quieter.

After looking at other psu's i'm torn between the 600w corsair and this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-SuperNOVA-NEX650G-Fully-Modular/dp/B00A03LW54/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
It is fully modular, about £15 more although it only has 4 stars. It is also an extra 50 watts I don't need but being fully modular is definitely extremely helpful. Do you think the fully modular is worth the upgrade from the partially modular 600w psu I posted originally? Or is fully modular just a novelty and partially modular does a good enough job?

fully modual is not just a noveltey and yes its a very high quality unit and is likely to be quieter as well since it is more efficient ultimatly though its preference really basically that one = better cable mangement and (likely) quieter operation

kay, just before I pick you as solution, would you recommend me getting it over the other 2 psu's and if so why? I know nothing about psu's and I'm more gpu knowledge so explain it like i'm an idiot.
