What is better? Using a 22-inch Full HD PC-Monitor or Using a Full HD 22-inch TV as a monitor?

I intend to buy a display device for my computer. Here are its specs.

Processor : 2nd Gen Intel Core i7-2600K (8MB Cache, 3.4GHz-3.8GHz)
RAM : 16GB DDR3
Graphics : Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 770
PSU : Corsair GS700 @ 700 Watts

As I said, I was looking to buy a new monitor. I personally liked this HP Monitor...

But then I thought buying a TV would be better... And I know buying a large TV and using it as a monitor would be foolish... So I came across this 22-inch Samsung TV which was also good...

Note : I do intend to play games.. So yeah, Even if its a TV that I purchase, It should be fast enough... I guess the Samsung TV says, its 100Hz, which is good I guess...

So what do you think is gonna be better? The HP Monitor or the Samsung TV? Or is there any other TV/Monitor that is better than the these two?

If you wanna suggest a Monitor/TV,

My requirements are :

The panel type should be IPS, screen size should be around 22-24 inch... Full HD (Must), Reasonably fast Response Time...

  1. Umm, could you please replace the nonsense dfg in your post with a description of what you want to use it for? The answer might be different depending on whether you will be doing photo editing, playing cutting-edge games, watching videos, or filling in Excel spreadsheets.

EDIT FOR LATECOMERS: The original post came up with nonsense, and then was edited to have lots of juicy details.
