hey guys I just ordered some 8GB corsair DDR3 RAM and after I just installed It, and after 30 minutes my computer unexpectedly shuts down? My computer is virus free from AVG's standard, so I was wondering if I should re-plug the ram in again to see if it works? other than that it's brand new RAM what just came out of the box. If you want to see the ram Here is the link:

Solution
Download Memtest, I recommend the USB installer, download and run it, it's pretty simple, just plug the USB in and follow the steps, (It will format the USB) and will install the boot files onto the USB.

Now reboot and enter the BIOS, force boot from the USB and this will open Memtest and it will check for errors.

This sounds like faulty RAM.

Also are you getting the bluescreen, if you do what is the error code.

Hi, I just downloaded Memtest and restarted my computer and selected it as my booting device, I let Memtest do it's thing and about an hour later it finished saying it passed and had 0 errors. But when my computer shuts down it doesn't show a blue screen, it simply just restarts.
