Hey, I have a question. Here it comes: When I play Team Fortress 2 my general frames per second are around 200, but then when I go into combat, I get around 120 all the way down to 80 sometimes. Is this normal? Because It just seems weird.

My specs:
Graphics card: GTX 780
Processor: Intel Core i7-4700k @ 3.5 GHz
Ram: 16 GB.

TF2 is no where near horribly optimized...

You should expect drops when the action picks up, but not anything like you're experiencing. Do a clean uninstall and fresh reinstall of latest beta drivers for your 780.

Okay, I will try to do that. Another weird thing is that I get normal frames in games like let us say Skyrim, but it is just in TF2 it drops a lot. I have one last question to you. I simply want to ask what you would think my frame rate should be. Like how much higher should it generally be?

Even with all settings maxed, it should never drop below 100fps on a 780 @ 1080p.
