I currently have a pretty cobbled together system (I got the motherboard and memory from friend when he upgraded, 2.5" hard drive is salvaged from my old laptop from when it blew, and I bought a 1080p screen and the cheapest CPU, PSU and case I could find).
My system is:
CPU: Ivy Bridge Celeron G1610
PSU: Antec EarthWatts Green 380W
HDD: Scorpio Black 7200 RPM
Mobo: ASRock LGA1155 with Z75 chipset
Mem: 2x 4GB 1600Hz DDR3 from G.SKILL Ripjaws
The only game I'm interested in playing is World of Warcraft at the moment. With this system I'm getting around 30-35 fps in the old zones, 15 fps in Pandaria on fair/good settings (haven't tried raiding with it, but in 40+ situations like in AV, I'm getting a slideshow).
I have about $150 to spend on an upgrade. Should I buy a dedicated GPU or upgrade my CPU?What would give me the biggest upgrade in-game?
Thanks!
