Hi Everyone,

I am planning my first PC build and have been researching / lurking here for a few weeks. I've finally settled on a build and price that I think will work for me, but wanted to make sure I'll be getting good value for my money. I plan to game (Assassins Creed 4, Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3, etc.) and do small business stuff on this machine. I'm not sure if I will overclock, but I would like to buy parts that give me the option. Here is what I have come up with:

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qGvXnQ
Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qGvXnQ/by_merchant/
Benchmarks: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qGvXnQ/benchmarks/

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($229.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($145.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($120.98 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($109.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: PNY GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card ($479.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Rosewill ARMOR-EVO ATX Full Tower Case ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($57.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B3ST/BLK/G/AS DVD/CD Writer ($26.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Wireless Network Adapter: Asus PCE-N15 802.11b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter ($28.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1481.87

I was originally going to get the GTX 770, but the price difference of $150 was small enough for me to justify the upgrade. I plan to install Windows 8 and major apps on the SSD to speed things up, and for the extra $30 I decided to go with a 3TB 7200rpm hdd. It doesn't matter to me what the case looks like since I have plenty of room and it will be out of sight, so I decided on a utilitarian full tower that seems to have good cooling .

Thanks for any advice in advance!

Edited the build for a better SDD and PSU.
