Fractal Design R4 Fans

Just a general question to you guys, I'm stuck between choosing CM 690 III or fractal design r4. I'm looking for optimal airflow so planning ahead what cases have a better fan setup.

What fan setup do you use for your r4 that provides good airflow? What fans do you use? Do you use the fan controller, and if not is there any reason against it? I'd be planning on using it so i'll need to find fans that can go down to 5v. Any suggestions?

Really love that cpu cooler. Boasts great reviews but struggled to find it here in UK without getting ripped off. I went with the dark rock pro 3 which shouldn't dissapoint. Looks good and also boasts good reviews.

I've had a look at that video, I'm just not sure of the optimal fan setup, i.e. what fans to use, and whether to use the inbuilt fan controllr or just connect all my fans to my mobo headers.

If it were your build, what would you do? I'm a first time builder so any advice helps me a ton.

Okay so they all run at full speed. Last question, are you using the r4? If so, whats sound levels like, if not, just ignore this.
