x4 750k Upgrade

Hello all, as the title say i need upgrade for x4 750k. So, i have r9 270, RAM 4gb and 750k cpu. I mostly play BF 3 and will start 4, in Multiplayer. I changed my gpu couple of days ago, i had hd 7770, then installed r9 270. I got better performance in BF3, but still not good, fps drops to 30 in high action areas. So its surely a CPU. Now i need upgrade for 750k, and im thinking about FX 6350, or maybe some intel thats in price range with 6350. Would FX upgrade my performance to a minimum 60 fps in big actions? Would Intel in that price range perform better? What are your suggestions? And yes, forgot to mention, i plan on playing on high/ultra settings on 1440x900!Thanks

You realize you'd also need a new motherboard, and thus a new copy of Windows?

You'll have to decide on your budget, but my advice would be a Haswell CPU such as an i5-4460 and 1150 motherboard.

BTW, you can find Benchmarks for BF3 but most are Single-Player and often shows similar performance with many CPU's. Multi-Player is more demanding.

Yeah, mine would be Haswell too, but i dont have that much money, or i just wont give that much money. Would FX 6350 perform good? Maybe i can afford 8320, but lets say FX 6350.

Boricko :

The FX-6300 is probably unbeatable for the price range, given that you are using multithreaded games. Other tasks and older games will benefit from an Intel CPU.
