So I recently built a computer with a M5 A97 R2.0 ASUS Motherboard with Realtek HD onboard sound card. The issue im having is that, when speaking for longer than about 20-30 seconds, the recording cuts out, but not completely, and i sound "like i just ran down a hallway" as soneone described to me. Its very annoying. The driver is up to date, ive tried 3-4 headsets, and even plugged the mic in front and in back of the tower with the same effect. Im at a loss at this point. Any suggestions?
