Changed DB router settings now only one network works

Hello, I am using a Netgear N600 Dual Band router. I had this setting:

Network1 2.4ghz
WEP (for 3DS use) / up to 54mbps / enable SSID broadcast

Network2 5ghz
WPA2-PSK [AES] / up to 54mbps / no SSID broadcast

I changed it to:

NetworkOne (changed SSID) 2.4ghz
WPA2-PSK [AES] / up to 300mbps / enable SSID broadcast / new password

Network2 5ghz
WPA2-PSK [AES] / up to 300mbps / no SSID broadcast

Now Network #1 won't work. I have restarted my router and modem three times as well as both of the computers (macbook and PC desktop). My macbook gives me a "connection timeout" when I try to connect and my PC tries to reset my wireless adapter.

What did I do? Online video game play was running really slowly so I am trying to see if messing with my router will make it better. Any suggestions appreciated!

If you changed the settings, you have to delete and re-add the connection on the computers that had it saved.

I personally would recommend the only messing you do with it for Online video game play is plugging a ethernet cable into it and your gaming device.

Beyond that, are your NIC cards even compatible at those speeds?
