What would happen if you put two identical graphics cards that are two way SLI only, into a motherboard that only supports crossfire and start it up? Thanks.

Doesn't matter what GPU's or MOBO, I'm just curious as to what would happen in this instance.

What is your mobo? There used to be nvidia boards and AMD/ATI only, which means that not even a single card would be recognized, but I haven't seen one of those in years.

Why would you? The mobo spec obviously says Xfire only.

Are you asking about the motherboard you mentioned in your other thread? If so, it supports SLI. If you are asking about another motherboard, what make/model are you referring to.

Trying to run SLI on a board that the chipset doesn't support is likely to simply not work in SLI mode.
