Well, made a new computer desk and put my computer in and bam, every game I have lags and browsing lags, so updated my GPU drivers and restarted it and nothing happened. Ran virus scans and found nothing. My games like Warthunder, Dayz, minecraft, Wolfinstine all get 2 FPS. No I idea whats happening but I don't wanna reformat my HDD cause I got like 200 Gb of games. All these worked fine 2 days ago....

Specs:
I-5 3570k
HD7870
8GB ram
HAF 932 case ( ton of fans)

If you can't find the issue, you're going to have to reformat. I had huge lag spikes in CPU and RAM (yes RAM) utilization even in desktop a while ago, and games that ran fine before lagged to all hell and stuttered terribly. When I reformatted, it did solve the issue, but my backup of games also didn't work and I had to manually re-download roughly 400 GB of games. You can either play with 2 FPS, or deal with re-downloading your games if you don't get the issue solved. Your choice.

What I would do to test this is partition your hard drive off, maybe a 100 GB partition, install Windows on it and transfer over one game that had issues, and if it runs fine that means you will have to reformat your drive. If not, you may have a hardware issue. What is your power supply?

OK you're fine on the power aspect. I would suggest doing what I suggested as a test, if that seems to fix the issue it would probably be best to physically back up your games and format your drive. If there is still an issue one of your components could be malfunctioning. If you need help with any of that stuff just send me a message.

I messaged you. With only Firefox and Skype open my RAM is using 2.71 GB and the line stays flat when looking at Task Manager. Why would it be using 34% of my ram when doing nothing.

The reason a lot of ram is being used is because alot of other programs run aditionally to skype&firefox. You can see that by checking in task manager "show active programs by all users".
About reformating, you need your windows cd. Also you need to know how to make a new partition to your disk and install windows to it (google it)

Well, I do have two hard drives so a lot of my games are on the other one. So, do I have to partition my HD to reformat. Its been a awhile since I've reformatted any thing. Not sure if I have a windows disk. Also, I have 65 processes running. I know that their is a lot going on behind the scenes but is that to many. I've never had my ram run like this at a constant rate. The graph it shows has the ram as a straight line. I have never seen that before.

I assume that only one of the drives has windows installed. You can install windows on the other drive and use it to run windows to see if you have the same problem as apcs13.
I dont know alot about rams so i cant see if there is any problem to it

I don't think my other drive has windows installed. I may just reformat my drive. That's the guaranteed thing isn't it?

I think you got a bit confused here. You just need a clean windows install, no matter if that comes through a reformat/new partition/seperate drive. This is to check whether the OS is your problem or not.
Also, doing so doesnt guarantee you a solution since the OS might not be the problem and it's your hardware fault
