I don't hear even a bit of sound from my CPU - Is this good or bad?

My Current gaming PC SPECS:

Intel i5 4670
Gigabyte H87M-D3H
R9 270X OC
550W PSU
CM Hyper 212X (aftermarket cooler)

Lately, I changed my computer rig from amd processor to intel processor to have better performance in gaming. Since then, I don't hear anything when my computer is turned on. Even when I play high end games like watch dogs and crysis 3 for more than 2 hours, it's way too silent.

Is it because of the CM hyper 212X or anything bad happened in there?

Ah, okay then. The temps are stable and fans are working good. Though sound doesn't matter, I would like to know how it got suppressed. Is it because of the aftermarket cooler or the processor?

Because when I was using AMD, the sound was so clear and high from both fan and graphic card. After switching over i5, the CPU became more healthier than before.

Thank you, Thank you and Thank you. I can see that Intel is far superior to AMD in terms of gaming. I am loving it. It works fantastic with my R9 270X (Ultra settings, everywhere)
