I installed the Maximus 6 Hero mobo and now on startup windows is having trouble starting up. I read a few post and think my HD it's loading the old mobo drivers, if so how can I delete those and download the new ones? Or any other suggestions would be great!

Really trying to avoid that but if I have to should I just install onto another hdd and plug old one back in afterwards? Just don't know how to make the mobo load off of just one hdd and if so could it be portable so I don't have to buy a new one, once I get new drivers downloaded can I bring up other hdd and delete old drivers off of it?

if you have another hdd, just install a fresh copy of windows on that drive and use your old hdd for storage.even then you will still have to reinstall all your programs.the only way to avoid problems with hardware changes is to do a fresh install of windows.
