Hi, my GPU was pretty dirty and was overheating, so i cleaned it up a little but when i inserted it and turned on my PC, fans went absolutely crazy. The sound was incredibly anoying, i didn't know whats going on so i checked HWmonitor and one spot on the motherboard was 99 °C at ALL times.

I really don't know what to do, my room temperature is 23 °C and my components are always max. 35 °C idle, (except my GPU but thats another issue) so its not possible for the one spot on the motherboard to be 99 °C at all times. The problem is that fans also think that the spot is so hot and they are running like crazy.

Sorry for my bad english, its not my native language.

Here's screenshot from HWmonitor: https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/457x691q90/845/sfti.p...

How old is your computer?

I'm no expert, but the fans may get noisier and slower with age, so when you boot up, go to the BIOS, where you will find something like CPU specs, etc. where the speed of the CPU fan and the system fan will be given.

If it's below 2300 RPM, try replacing the fan with another(go for the system fan before the one above the processor) if it is quieter, you can replace the fan on the processor too.

As for the tmpin1 showing 99 degrees, look here:

Well, i reatached the graphic card and for some reason it all went back to normal again, temperatures are fine and fans too.
Thanks anyway.
