Hello!

Is it possible to cloan raid 0 to a single drive?

Atm i have 2 64gb ssd's in raid 0 and i have my os and so installed on that and then i have a normal 1tb hhd for extra storage.

But i want to buy a 250gb+ ssd and i would like to cloan my raid setup to that?

would that be possible and still then boot from the new ssd once cloaned?

Hello,

There should be no problems cloning your RAID0 array to a 250GB SSD, just use a reputable cloning software and perform it through windows, as a bootable cloning software may not understand your RAID array (not sure on that part though)

A quick google search shows this to be well rated for a free cloning software.

http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx - Appears to be able to handle what you want to accomplish, though I have never used it personally
