I'm planning to buy 1 of these two cards ( Asus ROG Mars 760 or ROG 780 Poseidon ) . Which one should I get? Most Important thing is that I'm not planning to upgrade my system within 4-5 years after this upgrade. So which one will be better for me?
I have heard the MARS has the ability to perform so much as like the 780TI ( not sure ). And also the 780 Poseidon is rich for its cooling. But in my locality this two cards a same in price. So which one should I get for future gaming ( for that kindda long time period)?

you will get 780 ti like preformance from the mars but you will consume more power and you might no be benefited 100% on game launch.ome games do not support sli when they come out so you will be have the preformance of a 760.if you hook the 780 on watter gpu boost 2.0 should give you the best preformance until it reaches 80 c

if you have or are going to put it on a waterloop then yes or else go with a 780 ti direct cu II oc
its 100 $ more than the posiedon but preforms slightly better.or wait until computex maybe the prices will drop more.

sli doubles in theory the preformance.
the mars has 2 760 in sli on one physical gpu.
2 2gb 760 in sli.
so you get nearly the preformance of a 780 ti with 2 gtx 780 in sli you will be getting the preformance of a titan z that costs 3000$ with the only drawbacks of less vram and no double precision floating piont.witch in games should not make a diference.altough the preformace will be close with the titan z with less that a 3 of the price.
sometimes at game launches sli profiles are not added and you will be playing with only one gpu although that will not be forever in most cases.although a single 780 is better than one 760.although if you sli you need a good power supply recomended 850.2 780 consume 250 each so about 500 wats add another 200 wats for the rest of the system .750 wats at least.

Only go for the poseidon if you have water cooling, otherwise you would be better off with the 780 maxtrix.

This is my project...

Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5g Thermal Paste
Asus MAXIMUS VI FORMULA ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
G.Skill Trident X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
Samsung 840 EVO 500GB mSATA Solid State Drive Samsung-internal-hard-drive-mzmte500bw
EVGA GeForce 2 GTX 780 3GB Dual Classified ACX Video Card (2-Way SLI)
NZXT HALE90 V2 1200W 80 PLUS Gold ATX12V v2.31 & EPS12V v2.92 Power Supply
ASUS BW-12B1ST Blu-Ray Writer 12X BD-R 16X DVD+R Sata Black Retail
ASUS USB 2.0 ROG Front Base LCD Dual Bay Gaming Panel
2 NZXT Kraken G10 GPU Liquid Cooler Bracket - Red
2 Zalman LQ-310 CPU Liquid Cooler
NZXT Switch 810 (White) ATX Full Tower with 3 fans on top
Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional
Logitech G930 7.1 Channel Headset

but I'm undecided two March or two Poséidon or two Matrix GPU would be a lot more beautiful then two gtx 780 from nvidia
My OTHER problem is to find someone to build it for me or selling everything and buy one already assembled.

I just bought one Asus Poseidon for 329$...wow maybe I will buy another one....if I can sell one or two of my EVGA GeForce 2 GTX 780 3GB Dual Classified.....

I am not very familiar with building pc's but I am very curious. Is't possible to install the poseidon on top and SLI my other two cards Under the poseidon so I can use the Kraken G-10 on the two EVGA or I can't and my only option is to crossfire all 3 cards? Or if my MB accept only two cards?

Last question is about water-cooling what should I use to cool my MB & GPU together? I mean all the beautiful red tubing that we can see on Linus ROG videos...what is it and can I have a link of where to buy this?

Thanks

Right now I have a r9 290x but it is very hot. I would like to sell it and buy either the Poseidon 780 or the MARS or whatever will get me good performance at about 600 dollars. I am water cooling so what is my best choice?

Get a new GTX 980 with a water block.

Isnt the mars the same price as a 780TI now? Didnt the price of a 780ti dip to around $550?

I will say this, The mars is nasty fast, but I had some scaling issues and the thermals were terrible on that card. I was able to return and replace it with a EVGA 780ti SC ACX a few weeks later and the average performance was much better.

that is a little over my budget and want one that is similarily performing to the r9 290x. Is the Poseidon a good idea or the ti?

a 290x is a hair slower than a 780ti, so going to a 780 would be a downgrade.

My mistake, a 780ti is now $450. I have this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Although I paid $730 3 months ago.... I would get that one if youre going to overclock it, or get the one for $489 if you dont want to OC.
