Hello everyone,

I want to buy a graphic card for my Dell optiplex 9020. This is going to be the first time ill be buying a graphic card so i had to make sure i made a good purchase, which I hope I will with the help of all of you.

I wanted to get a good graphic card to play the latest games at decent settings(med-high)

So, my budget is $100-$150. I found quite a number of graphic cards for that rate but I realized that my PSU is only 290 Watt. And I read somewhere that the optiplex 9020 does not let you upgrade psu, anyway, it'll exceed my budget.

The PC's specs are:
Dual core i5-4570 @3.20 GHz
8 GB ram
intel HD 4600.

ps: I hope im not asking too much but if you guys can, then please suggest a good monitor that fits in the budget along with the graphic card.

Thanks!

your only choice is gtx 750 ti due to your power supply and i would still double check the specs on that power supply to make sure. if not you might have to upgrade your case and power supply. Monitor wont fit in the budget of $150.

but here is what i would do to have a stable system( make sure to check your current motherboard uses ATX format not something proprietary)
you can also try to make it "fit" in your current case but id check the dimensions before buying anything.

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB Video Card ($115.38 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($32.99 @ Micro Center)...
