Problem with Ati mobility radeon hd 5470?

So I have a problem with a laptop GPU. The laptop is 3 years old Asus K52Dr. I tried to update the GPU drivers but it didn't work. After updating drivers it showed black screen and the laptop wasn't able to start up. The driver was downloaded from ati's website and it was for the HD 5470 mobility edition. I had to restore Windows to the point before updating. But the computer keeps showing this message:

Sorry the image is old, but I still have this problem!

After completely removing the drivers, install the latest ones and see if it works. Try the same procedure with some older drivers if it won't work the first time around.

You should only download your ASUS laptop drivers from the ASUS website, not from the device manufacturer's website.
