I am looking to build a HTPC that will look stylish among other modern looking items in my bedroom.
It has to be powerful and power saving and quiet so it can run games like WatchDogs at low settings but no lag.
The price limit is £450
Any builds are welcome
P.S the case I am considering is a Fractal Design Node 604- builds that fit inside are very welcome
:) :D Thanks for looking :p

Thanks for the reply, I am looking for more of an Intel based system, I would rather have USB 3.0 at the back as well I do not mind if it goes up to £500 if needed for that. Overall it is a good system but I would not build or use it as i have had bad experience with AMD set ups sorry :S

It's almost the same build but with an intel processor , intel mobo and 1x8 gb of ram just to save up some space and a few pounds
I got an intel processor just if later on you want an i5 or an i3 , could be usefull

I find the Intel Pentium CPU too weak for the needs of playing such games as watch dogs, plus i will not need an operating system as i have a retail windows 8 disk already. Something the likes of intel i3 or i5 would suit the needs of games like watchdogs.

With this CPU:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-Core-i5-2400-3-1-GHz-Quad-Core-BX80623I52400-Processor-/121352175789?pt=UK_Computing_CPUs_Processors&hash=item1c412740ad

(same CPU as me)

Don't forget you NEED a powerful gpu for games like watchdogs

Solution

Seems like a pretty solid mini-ATX build.
