2 GTX 770 vs GTX 780ti

Solution
The GTX 770 SLI will have more of everything: Performance, heat output, power draw, driver issues, and of course micro stuttering.

Admirable
Just one comment, it is always better to try and buy the fastest possible single card rather than have two slower cards and have to deal with all the stuttering etc associated with SLI/Crossfire. But Maktovic is quite right, a pair of GTX 770's will quite happily outperform a GTX 780Ti, but you should get the 4GB ones, especially if you are running multiple monitors.

Micro stuttering won't be much of a problem because the minimum FPS would be more than playable on any of the latest games and i won't have any heat issues because i have 8 case fans! power maybe a problem!

in many synthetics gaming benchmarks like firestrike, heaven, valley etc., a single 780ti with a healthy overclock... 1.3ghz or so, will very nearly match sli770s. in real world gaming, where sli scaling isn't nearly has high as it is in the synthetics, and especially in non optimized games where sli scaling is many times around 70%, the 780ti will perform on par or better. if you dont already own a single 770, there is no point whatsoever in buying two 770s. just get a single high performance card. if your building a new system around sli, you have to account for the added motherboard cost for a sli/cfx support for full speed across pcie lanes, and you need to account for a 200-300 watt higher rated power supply. once you have added those up, you might as well just go sli with a top tier card. unless you already own a previous gen/current gen flagship model, it is not cost effective or smart to jump to sli/cfx with a non flagship model. that said, both amd/nvidia flagship cards offer plenty of gpu horsepower for any current game on single monitors 1600p or below.

Well I'd still recommend the GTX 780Ti because of the potential issues, bad scaling and power consumption SLI has. If you are OK with those things, then you should go for GTX 770 SLI.

For a single 780Ti a 650W PSU will be enough.
If you do SLI with the GTX 770, I'd recommend about 850W.

Something from Antec, Seasonic, XFX or Corsair (TX, HX, and AX series only) should do nicely.
