No Display but pc is turning on

I tried using some different ram in my pc (corsair 1.6v) but after installing their wasn't any display. I removed it and installed my old ram (corsair 1.5v) and I still do not have display.

I have reseated ram, gpu, removed and replaced thermal paste on cpu cooler and nothing works. After performing the above, when I turned on the pc it booted, then shut down after about five seconds, and then rebooted but still no display. I'm not sure how to reset cmos/bios. MB is an Asus p8z77 v-lk.

Any help is appreciated.

I did try using the mb port, but no luck. I'll try removing the battery when I get home from work. Hopefully that will do the trick. I'm fearing a bad mobo, but wouldn't nothing work then?

I forgot to mention, regarding the ram I was trying to install it was Corsair XMS3 1.6v 4x4gb. Would trying to install this on a MB where that specific ram isn't included on their approved ram page cause a problem(such as this)? Thanks in advance. I really appreciate the help.
