Hi,
I got Watch_Dogs this morning and am getting approx. 20 fps on the lowest preset.

My specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460 1GB
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1333mhz

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks :)

Solution
The GTX 460 is the minimum required video card. There's not much you can do but to run the game on the lowest settings. You will need to upgrade the video card to at least a GTX 760 to get acceptable performance on at least high settings.

stop playing it and wait for the update in a few weeks time, the problem is the game not your hardware

It's really making me feel strange too. If I'm able to play watch dogs @ ultra settings with R9 270X, then what's wrong with r9 290?

Let me tell you something. Please have ALL DRIVERS up to date. It's really not easy to check it manually. So, click the link below and download the software - it would let you know all the outdated drivers in your pc and you can immediately install the updated ones. It is very easy to use. I recommend all to run this before playing Watch Dogs.

770=290x in performance at 1080p, anyway its the game as I have said and also MostWantedSoulRider you are not playing on ultra don't kid yoursels, you just have some settings to their highest level not all, that my friend is not ultra and really now your card is to weak to max this game on ultra with 45= fps anyway unless you playing @ really low res, then sure and good for you

Here's my Watch Dogs Display Settings:

Display: 1366 x 768

Refresh Rate: 60

Aspect Ratio: Auto

Window Mode: Full Screen

VSync: Off

GPU Max Buffered Frames: 5

Textures: Ultra

Anti Aliasing: MSAA 2X

In the other tab for video settings, all are set to ultra and high for last option (because it doesn't have ultra option)

Result: If V-sync turned to be off, I get around 45 FPS. If it is on, I go around 30 FPS.

In the meantime, I don't know how ultra texture works very well for my rig. The games says 3GB memory is required but all I have got in my PC is just 2 GB.

Even if it's 1080P, the result will be overall the same.
