For some reason when the screen is at a certain angle, the screen is perfectly lit up, however, when I try to rotate it the screen seems to almost turn off, but I can still see in it very VERY dimmly, kind of like when your phones brightness is all the way down and your outside in the sun. Is there a simple fix for this or will I need a new camera altogether? Thanks in advance,

This is an issuue with the power cable running to the backlight. As the cables age, they can shrink a little and cause them to pull out of the socket(become unseated) as the screen is moved around. If you could get to the power plug, you may be able to just re-seat it and fix it.

I'll give it a go, if it works then I will inform you. However that does seem possible as I have had the camera for a few years. Thank you very much in advance :)

Will I need a new cable?
