My current PC uses an Antec One case which offers a maximum PCI-e size of 10.5 inches. The R9 290 that I am purchasing has a length of 11 inches. Do you think this can squeeze into my Antec One, or do I need to purchase a new case? If I need to get a new case, what would you recommend that is affordable?

Solution
If the maximum size is 10.5", then no, an 11" card is not going to fit unless you are willing to cut metal, e.g. to remove part of the HDD cage.
Where can you buy, and what do you consider "affordable?"

Around $50 or less would be considered affordable for me. I don't need USB 3.0 in the front or anything fancy like that.

This case has a lot of good reviews: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153

I can't seem to find any specs on the max card length for that case though (perhaps, I'm not looking with the correct terminology). Do you know if that case would fit the 290?

I know it's probably too late and anything, but that card would defenetly fit. I was able to fit in mine 11.14 cards, and this one is only 10.9. Easy fit. Sorry couldn't reply on this earlier.
