Hi. So I have a computer that and going to be taking with me when I go back home and I want to know if it would be safe to ship and handle the computer with the graphics card and cpu cooler still inside the PC. Those are the heaviest parts of the computer so I'm worried that the pc may be damaged during shipping. I still have the boxes for both the gpu and cooler so I could take them out and ship them separately even though it would be a small inconvenience. What do you think I should do? I may even take the computer with me to the airport instead of shipping it so that's another option.

what is hte CPU cooler? even though they're big, most of them have very secure backplates. With that being said, i'd probably still remove it... it only take 5 minutes and a little thermal paste cleaning.

I'd DEFINITELY remove the video card. that takes 2 minutes, and you prevent your PCI-E slot from being asked to support 3 pounds of copper bouncing around
