HI guys Im gonna ask a really silly question here but want to confirm before I do anything.

Im currently running an Asus 2GB Gtx 770 and everything is hunky dory not a problem.

Ive just won an EVGA 2GB 770 in a competition and was wondering if there'll be a problem to SLI them? there shouldn't be if they are the same card just different brand?

Processor is an i5-4670k which should handle everything ok.

Sorry for the noob question I just want to check before I jump into it, never had SLI before.

Cheers guys!

Brand doesn't matter as long it is the same gpu chip inside. As long you have a SLI badge connecting to both the 770s and have an adequate power supply of 750W then it is fine.
Make sure your power supply isn't a cheap generic brand.

Yes, you can SLI those two cards. The requirements are (1) same chip (2) same RAM. So you can mix brands that have the 770 chip (GK104) and the same amount of RAM (2GB in this case). You wouldn't have been able to mix then if they had difference RAM amounts, but that won't be a problem for you.

Here is what Nvidia's official answer is on mixing brands of cards with the same chip and RAM amount:

Nvidia said:
Can I mix and match graphics cards from different manufacturers?

Using 180 or later graphics drivers, NVIDIA graphics cards from different manufacturers can be used together in an SLI configuration. For example, a GeForce XXXGT from manufacturer ABC can be matched with a GeForce XXXGT from manufacturer XYZ.
