Hi, I'm new to building pc, and I've chosen the other components except the motherboard, can anyone suggest a good motherboard on a tight budget? By the way, a monitor as well if not too much trouble. Thanks

Here is my list of components (updated):

CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.98 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($32.69 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($124.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($101.69 @ Amazon)
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 60GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($73.98 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked Video Card ($139.99 @ Amazon)
Case: BitFenix Ghost (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($95.94 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12G 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply ($109.85 @ Amazon)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-14 DVD/CD Writer ($20.35 @ Amazon)

Do you guys think this is ok?

My overall budget is around 1200, so I'm not even sure with my selection of components, for now it's most likely over budgeted. It's a build for gaming purpose.

Is Z97 chipset any good compare to z87 chipset? I saw that both chipset's mobo price is almost the same.
By the way, is Gigabyte good compare to MSI and Asus and Asrock? Furthermore, I live in Malaysia where Z97 chipset board is very rare and overpriced...

The Z97 will allow for you to use the new broadwell chips when they come out later in life.
So, if you want a motherboard that is future proof then I would go for this one.
But, they can be a bit on the pricy side.
Hope this helps!
