Hello,

I have $700 dollars to upgrade my computer to be able to play all the latest games and Render in high quality. I also wish to add a dual monitor. The dual monitor will not be for gaming. I will use one for work and games and the other monitor for the home screen.

When I render now, my computer crashes because its too much on the cpu

Main Programs
Cinema 4d
Sony Vegas 12 pro
Photoshop and After effects Cs6
Bonjou
Blender
Cod, far cry, crysis, bf4

Current Build(without the upgrade)

Cpu: Amd Phenom II X4 965
Gpu: Nvidia Gtx 650 ti 2gb
Psu: Corsair 500 watt
Ram: 16 gb corsair vengeance 2333 mhz
Mobo: Asus m5a97 evo3
HDD: 1tb seagate barracuda black
case: thermaltake armor a90

What components should I upgrade

honestly you´re still pretty good but for gaming you might want a new cpu-> mainboard and gpu
700$ you might be able to go with i7 and a high end gpu

U want t quickest overclocked Intel CPU u can get, n defo an i7 for t hyperthreading - this t max out yo 3d rendering speed.

If u can source an i7 2600K or 2700K for sensible money this could b a cheap way t serious speed - research Cinebench scores.

Yo gfx card is fine, no need t upgrade that - spend on CPU, mobo, cooler, RAM combo
