I've been trying to make my r9 270x work via crossfire for like a week now. I've tried everything. I made a thread yesterday but I can't find it. I've tried:
- Testing each GPU alone
- Using a different slot from the mobo
- Deleting drivers completely and installing new ones (14.6 beta)
- Deleting drivers completely and installing old ones (14.4)
- I even installed a fresh copy of Windows with nothing in it, installed Windows updates and it just won't work.
- Updating Bios? (Didn't help at all)

Whenever I enable crossfire, my system starts running slowly and whenever I try to open anything it starts crashing, ending with BSOD.

My specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 3.0 GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte LGA 1150 Intel H87M-D3H (It supports Crossfire)
GPU: 2 VisionTek R9 270x
RAM: Kingston HyperX Blu 8gb
PSU: CoolerMaster Silent Pro M2 850W

Note: I am using a HIS CrossFire Bridge InterConnect Cable

I don't really have a clue, only that i've never heard of visiontek.

why not go for a better known brand. you can get gigabyte r9 270x 4 GB at Scan.co.uk for £160

possibly using a different brand crossfire bridge than the cards is your problem, or there's a problem with your bridge.

it sounds like something is holding you back.

i've also found there is a lot of problems when i overclock my ram.

try running everything in a stock clock and try it again.
