Basically, when I set my PC up, my and I flick the switch on my PSU, it immidiately heats up. CPU fans don't spin, nothing connects, it just immidiately heats up.
As long as the motherboard standoffs are installed and nothing is out of place that can be shorting something, I think it's safe to say that the motherboard is faulty. The motherboard should not be powering up in any significant fashion without you hitting the power switch.

I don't understand what's wrong?
I would go back and carefully check al the wiring. It sounds to me like there is a short somewhere. If you built it, make sure all of the Standoffs behind the motherboard are in place.
I would reconsider getting your PSU sent away immediatly as there might be a fault with it which might be damaging your whole PC. If they diagnose your PSU as faulty then they will send you a new one, and if your other hardware is damaged and you still have warranty for them then they can be replaced. Also, try your PC with a spare PSU or a PSU from a working PC to see if it really is the PSU.

Behind the motherboard? Please explain so I can do so.

Yes, I've tried with 3 different PSU's, all same problem.
Here's what happened RIGHT before I had this problem:

Hi. In order to check that you would have to remove the motherboard. A prebuilt Computer may or may not have them as the back panel may be preformed which eliminates the need for them ( also generally with an mATX motherboard. What you are looking for are these and they should be in place and snug. The motherboard sits on top of them.
What kind of motherboard is it? Is the motherboard too hot to touch? Have you turned the lights off in the room the computer is in and looked for any red/orange/white glowing spots?

Same problem with my laptop.....I turned it off in the night, then when I woke up in the morning to use it wont turn on.......when the charger is plugged in, I see both the charing and power led on. So I opened it and check the motherboard and tried the process over.....where the graphics chip is located, it gets hot immediately
