What would you do to this build to try to squeeze in a intel processor?

I want to be able to use a intel core processor (i5 or i7, I want good gaming performance but I also want video editing to be an option down the road).

I understand that the mobo would need to be changed, however I would like to keep the price as close as possible. If that is not going to happen, don't say 'that will never happen' and move on, atleast please recommend something as close to the original price as you can get.

One thing i would like to be left alone is the graphics card, unless there is a nividia card I am not finding that is cheaper and has the same or better performance. I was thinking of going gtx 760 but I would like it to last a little longer without needing an upgrade.

Hi. You can go with an i5 4670k ( $229 ) and either an ASRock Z87 Pro3 Mother board ( $93 ) or Pro 4 ( $110 ). It will add a little to your total, but not a great deal and worth it.

Joeseph's build is solid... but of course you sacraficed a 770 for a 760.

the hyper 212 made sense on an fx6300 to OC, but
there's no reason for a hyper 212evo on a locked i5. save that $30... and switch to a 280x, which is about $260 and equal to a 770

Nothing downgraded, PSU, GPU, wifi card, RAM upgraded or optimized (GPU still Nvidia and CPU Intel).
