Well. I decided to go over to my friends house for a lan party. I booted up my system and my cpu was extremely cool. 5 c on idle, which is probably a missreading. But anyway. After going to sleep, waking up and booting up my system, My cpu was extremely hot. I got into windows and checked my temps with hwmonitor. It was around 60c. A few seconds later my system shut down and kept on doing so.

I went into my bios and saw that my cpu was 99c. it shutdown in bios too.

So I figured that the pump in my H80i wasn't working anymore. All my fans, (including the H80i) were working just fine. So I switched back to my reference cooler and now my temperatures have dropped a lot.

I still have my warranty on my H80i, should I RMA it?

Specs:

GA-990FXA-UD3
FX-8350 (no overclock at the moment and no voltage increase)
H80i
Design R4 chassi.

Thanks for answers.

U should RMA t h80i, which is normally a magnificent cooler... But first I would try refitting making absolutely sure t pump has power ( t Corsair logo should light up) and that it's fitted firmly t t CPU - I'm suspicious because yo issue was after u moved t PC - makes me suspect something came loose...

Yea, i suspected that too. But it worked just fine when I booted it up for the first time. After being here for one night the temps suddenly rised. I never moved the pc after setting everything up.
