Need help deciding on a new GPU

I'm looking to buy a new GPU as my current one is struggling to cope with the games i'm playing (mostly ARMA3 and Dayz).

I'm aware that my CPU and PSU are going to limit what i am able to get but as i'm on a budget id like to avoid replacing any other parts unless i need too.

I'd like to know what is the best GPU that my system will be able to run? Also if i were to upgrade the PSU what and GPU what sort of cost am i looking at and any suggestions?

Specs are:
CPU - amd fx4100
GPU - Radeon HD 6770
PSU - 450w
RAM - 4GB
MOBO - asus A78L-M
cooling - Titan heatsink (don't know model)

since you only have 4GB ram you'll have to play these games at medium settings or so. ARMA is a very demanding game now as to ARMA 3.
You will have to upgrade your PSU for a stable build to at least play those games.
Try a HD 7770 or 7870. I have the 7770 and can run DayZ fine.
But then again RAM would be a decent thing to have (at least 8GB) if you have 64-bit version of Windows.

To be honest, I don't think a GPU upgrade will help all that much, especially for ARMA3. CPU is more important in that game, and no offense, but your CPU simply isn't that great.

What is the full model of your motherboard? There are M5A78L-M's and M4A78LM's. If it supports a 6300 or 8320 you might want to consider one of those...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 7750 with 1 GB VRAM or better is the recommended graphics cards for arma 3. and for the CPU Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD Phenom II X4 940 or better is the recommended and also 4gb ram is the recommended for this game so u wont need an upgrade there and make sure u have at least 20gb free memory in your harddrive
