Isnt this to high temps for H80i?

So when im using prime my intel core i7 4770k Reaches all the way up to 91C!. Isn't that to high? i mean i thought a water cooler would do better.
I idle at the low 30's.
I play games at 70-75C
I use prime at 85-90, 91C
Isn't these temps to high?. And if so. Why?

Did you apply the thermal paste or whatever on properly?

You should probably take another look. With the 80i and seeing 90c temps either your pump isn't pumping, or you have no thermal transfer to the block (thermal paste).

Well in corsair link it says pump is on 2233

Are you overclocking? Those temperatures are a bit high for a water cooler. Does your case have enough airflow?

No im using stock 3.5GHz and yes i got a 220 milimeter fan in front.

Does the pump work? Can you hear it?
Did you plug in the fan connectors including the cable which powers it?
If possible, could you take a picture of your setup with the H80i

Are you pulling air into the case or blowing it out?
If you feel the air coming from the fan, is it hot or cold?

Then the pump is not working or either the heatsink didn't make contact with the cpu correctly.
Do you have an air cooler to test your cpu. i would advise you to use that and RMA your H80i

I can easy hear the pump but actually me and my dad had some problems with that backplate but he said it didn't mean something because the cooler wasn't loose.

You should really have that back plate on them to ensure the heatsink is actually making contact regardless if the cooler doesn't come loose.
Try a reinstallation in the correct procedure. Make sure you have the correct backplate for intel sockets.

For the cpu yes, it is getting too high. 50-60 is better and i pretty sure the H80i is capable of that.

Whilst the cpu is ok to be at that temps, at stock speed it should not reach that temperature at all with a H80i. Even a stock cooler will do better than that. Clearly the pump is not working or the cpu cooler isn't installed correctly.

If you look at this review, it is using an overclocked i7 2600k and it is running at a lower temps with the H80i.
